Quanfei Huang is currently the team leader of genome annotation group, BGI. His work focuses on bioinformatics analysis of de novo genome projects, such as repeat identification, gene finding and gene function prediction. He has participated in multiple genome projects and was one of the key contributors of cucumber and panda genome projects.
